Lisa has been baking since she was a young girl in California. Despite being a primary school teacher in the Barcelona area for the last 10 years, baking has always been a passion. Whether it´s volunteering cakes for friends´ birthdays or wholesaling to restaurants. When the opportunity presented itself and with the enthusiastic support of friends and her close family – Lisa decided to embark on a new adventure and opened Lizy’s kitchen in Sitges, Barcelona. With Lisa’s bakes and convivial personality setting the tone, this little bakery has really taken off. Everything is made by hand, daily, using the best ingredients available. The Bialy´s are baked in the shop every morning; the coffee comes from Esperanza Cafe, a microroaster in Barcelona and the carrot cake is already famous.
